Comparison of Immunohistochemical expression of cytokeratin 7 in low and high grade cervical intraepithelial lesions

Abstract

Accordingly in this study, the Immunohistochemical expression of cytokeratin 7 in low and high grade cervical intraepithelial lesions was compared and assessed. Material and Methods: In this observational study that was done as case-control assay, 60 consecutive patients including 32 LSIL patients and 28 cases with HSIL from alzahra Hospital in Tabriz since 2011 to 2016 were evaluated and the expression of CK7 IHC marker in two diagnoses were assessed and compared. Results: The results of CK7 was positive in 24 HSIL cases and also in 1case with LSIL that showed statistically significant difference (P=0.001).
