dc.description.abstractIntroduction : Studies show that %03 of people refer to hospitals in the United States because of side effects of medications. Therefore, irrational prescription of drugs and their excessive use endanger the health of patients and the level of health of the country. Also, excessive use of drugs as expensive products increases the costs of treatment and hospitalization of patients and creates economic problems in the country. Objective :Evaluation of prescribed medicine pattern by general practitioners and specialists in east Azerbaijan during 8102 and 8102 Methods: The present study is a cross-sectional study with descriptive-analytical aspects. In order to collect information, health insurance prescriptions for all general practitioners and specialists in East Azerbaijan province in 8002 and 8002 were extracted through the prescription information processing system available on the website of the Food and Drug Administration and the data were analyzed. Results: In our study, we observed the under results: Conclusion: Comparison of prescription indices in 8002 compared to 8002 shows that there are no significant changes in the process of prescribing physicians and it seems necessary to implement appropriate training programs in order to rationally prescribe the drug with the approach of correcting prescription indices, which is necessary. Continuation of training and providing feedback to physicians should be considered.
