dc.description.abstractAbstract: background: Women's life expectancy increasing over 80 years, this increase longevity is allowing a greater number of life after menopause, prolonged deficiency of estrogen can put women's life at risks and would physiological changes can take place in this period. Healthy life style with healthy behaviors can make a better experience of menopause and somehow a better adaptation with menopause. While regarding midwives can play important roles in assisting women to cope better with the events of menopause researcher aimed to compare life style and women's health during pre, per and menopause amongst employees at University of Tabriz Medical Sciences. Methods and Materials: This is a descriptive comparative study in which 167 samples (62 pre, 55 per, and 50 post -menopause) from University of Tabriz Medical Sciences Personnel have chosen. Data were analyzed by statistical tests of ANOVA, correlation, regression (forward). Results: In this study significant differences have been found among 3 groups with regard to health scores (p<0.001).The means of health scores in pre –menopause group was maximum. Also the relation between life style and women's health were significance (p<0.001, r=0.312). However the relation of BMI and women's health among 3 groups were not significance (p=0.98, 0.591 respectively). Conclusion: According to the results: among 3 groups of women's health were significantly difference and there were relation between life style and women's health that using regression showed relation between stress control and diet with woman's health was significantly, but no difference among 3 groups have been found with regard to BMI and health. Also between BMI and women's health no relation were been found. Finally the study recommended to educate women to improve their life style (exercise, proper diet, and no smoking, and enough sleeping and stress reduction techniques) till to reach to better health.en_US
