The Effective Factors on Drug Regimen Adherence Rate among Brucellosis Patents attending Bunch Teaching Hospital, 1995.

Abstract

Abstract: This study is a descriptive study for examined the role of health beliefs in Brucellosis therapeutic regimen adherence. The subjects were 60 Brucellosis patient with an age 16 -70 years from a health therapeutic centers. The means for collecting data were questionnaire. The questionnaire includes three parts. Personal specifications, Health beliefs variables and compliance questions. Descriptive and inferential statistics have been to achieve the research objectives and the results have been shows in 45 tables and 14 diagrams. Findings of this study showed that 48 -3% of the patients have therapeutic regimen compliance. Susceptibility for brucellosis complications and had significant relation with compliance. With increased barriers from therapeutic regimen, compliance decreased, and with increased education also compliance increased. The greatest compliance was achieved with high perceived barriers and susceptibility poor compliance was associated with perceived motivation. These finding suggest that health beliefs may play important role in Brucellosis therapeutic regimen adherence.
