dc.description.abstractAbstract: Introduction: Maternal perception of fetal activity as a valuable non-invasive method of assessing fetal well-being has been over the year become recognized as a valuable tool for early detection of fetal compromise. With knowing that ten percent of attending pregnant women to taleghane clinic are with reduced fetal activity the topic become imperative to study. Objective: To study the relationship between fetal activity with outcome of pregnancy. Design: This is a prospective analytical study which data were gathered by observation. Setting: Education and treatment center of Taleghane. Participant: 88 Low-Risk pregnant women who were attending Taleghane clinic for pregnancy follow up (43 pregnant women with reduced fetal activity and 45 pregnant women with natural fetal activity). Results: The results showed statically significant correlation between variables such as fetal Heart Rate, mechanism staining and kind of delivery, and no correlation between Apgar score, lived birth and birth weight. Conclusion: On the bases of the result of this study health care professional must seize every opportunity to offer advice to pregnant women and then attempt primary prevention of poor obstetric outcome in addition report finally discusses the application of findings to midwifery education and offer some suggestions to future investigation on the topics.en_US
