dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to evaluate the knowledge and utilization of emergency, internal and surgical residency medicine applications and educational websites and valid scientific news and current treatment by the correct diagnostic information of this software. Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on all residents of emergency medicine, internal medicine and surgery in hospitals of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. In this study, a questionnaire including 4 sections will be used. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The first part includes questions to collect sample demographic parameters such as gender, type of smart device, Internet access devices on smart devices (Wi-Fi, 3G or both), installation of medical applications on smart devices, Frequency of Use and Purpose of Use of Medical Applications. The second part is designed to evaluate residents' beliefs about medical plans. The third part of the questionnaire was designed to assess the impact of medical programs on the clinical performance of residents based on their understanding, while the final part of the questionnaire was designed to assess students' perceptions. Results: In this study, 104 residents were enrolled. The minimum age is 29 and a maximum of 50 years. Due to the lack of normal distribution of data, therefore, most patients (75% - 25%) were in the age range of 33-39.75 years. 40 participants (38.5%) were male and 64 (61.5%) ) They were women. Nineteen (18.3%) of the participants were emergency medicine residents and 9 (8.7%) were surgical residents and the rest were internal residents. Internal medicine emergency residents and internal residents use surgical apps and smartphones more than surgical residents to learn clinical skills.en_US
