| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between placental placement, phallus angle, BMI, and fetal heart rate with fetal sex.
Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 121 pregnant women. The age of the mother, the number of pregnancies, the number of live births, maternal BMI, fetal heart rate, position of the placenta, and the size of the phallus angle. Also, the fetus was trained by trained radiologists and then by telephone follow up through the telephone pre- Nasal embryos were assured. Subsequently, SPSS 21 software was used to analyze the relationship between fetal gender and the appropriate factors.
Results: There was no statistically significant relationship between maternal BMI, fetal heart rate, position of fetus with fetal gender in mothers referred to the present study. However, there was a significant correlation between the size of the phallus angle and the fetal gender, so that the majority of female embryos with the difference (p = 0.0001) of the phallus angle were equal to or less than 10 degrees, while most embryos were equal to or equal to the phallus angle More than 30 degrees were boys (p = 0.0001). | en_US |
