The aim of this study was to evaluate correlation between cortical electrical activity indexes with conners' rating scale- parents form scores in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, the study patients were selected from children referred to the clinic, those who met the inclusion criteria and were interviewed by a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) based on DSM5 provided necessary explanations to parents about the purpose and purpose of the study and parental consent was obtained. Connors Test 3 Parents (short form) were compared for each parent requested and parent reports of children (parent report). Then patients were evaluated with qEEG and brain electrical activity indices were recorded and its relationship with findings from Conners questionnaire (and possibly disparity between parental reports) was investigated. Also basic information of patients such as age and sex of the child, age of parents, parental education, history of illness and drug use were recorded in the child and if any differences were controlled by patient classification. Results: In the present study, 68.7% of patients were male and their mean age was 7.55±3.57 years. In each parent, there was a significant relationship between qEEG and parent-reported ADHD based on the Conners questionnaire. There was no statistically significant difference between the two parents in reporting problems of children with ADHD based on Conners' indices (p> 0.05).en_US
