dc.description.abstractBackground and Objective of the Study: Most of the activities carried out by health personnel are under the Prevention Type 1 activities and form the basis of this type of prevention. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of 24-hour training on the knowledge and practice of people working in food distribution and distribution centers and public places in Saqez. Method: This was a cross-sectional (analytical-descriptive) study. The target population was those employed in food production, distribution and sales centers and public places in Saqez. The sampling method was simple random and the final sample size was 419 persons. Of these, 208 were trained and 211 were those who did not attend guild training. Awareness Questionnaire (10 questions) and Functional Questionnaire (10 questions) were used for data collection. Data were analyzed by ANOVA and T-test. Findings: The results indicate the effectiveness of the training provided. The mean score of knowledge in the trained (6.77) was higher than that of the educated (5.17) and the mean score of the educated (2.58) was higher than the educated (2.29). The mean score of knowledge of men was higher in men than women. Also in the educated group the mean score of women's knowledge and performance was better than men, this finding could have a greater effect on awareness and practice in women. It was statistically significant (P-value = 0.001) by the t-test. Participants' literacy level was directly related to knowledge and practice in both trained and educated groups, which increased with increasing literacy, awareness, and performance of individuals. This finding was statistically significant by ANOVA (P-value = 0.001). Conclusion: Participation of people working in food supply, distribution and sales centers and public places in guild health education classes is effective in raising awareness and improving their performance, and can, along with other activities and policies of the Ministry of Health, improve the quality of life. Health care in the community. And it is necessary to take into consideration the content and content of the educational headings, the review and the level of content presented and the newer the current situation.en_US
