dc.description.abstractBackground & Objectives: Cardiovascular disease is the epidemic of our time and is the most important disease in the world leading to death, disability, rising medical costs in 2020. Therefore, it is important to implement programs for risk assessment of this disease.The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the impact of a heart attack risk program in patients at a risk above 30% and Sex distribution in Ahar city. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study. The statistical population included all participants in risk assessment program with 30% probability of injury in private health centers and rural and urban centers of Ahar city in the year 2017-2018. The present study was conducted as a whole population with a number of samples 257. To collect data. Questionnaires including demographic information and disease status and Healthy behaviors were used. Data was analyzed using SPSS 19 software. Results: Blood cholesterol index, diastolic blood pressure, and systolic blood pressure, and BMI, body weight, and waist circumference in men and women were better than current ones p)>0/05; Tobacco use among men and women in the past 12 months is more favorable than in the first 12 months (4 out of 42 smokers quit smoking and 215 out of 215 who quit smoking). Tobacco free 1 person has switched to smoking The results showed that the risk assessment program was effective in smoking Also, indicators such as daily exercise and proper diet of men and women were better in the present situation than the first one and were significantly different from each other(P <0.001) Conclusion: Based on the results of the heart attack risk program in patients at a risk above 30%, it has caused significant changes in the status of observing of the risk factors of heart attack. However, a small percentage(2.3%) of patients had a risk reduction below 30% at their last referral(p = 0.031) which results in the need for a review of the programs and interventions specified in this program Recommended.en_US
