dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to compare and compare the gender of boys and girls born after IVF, IUI and ICSI in Tabriz Alzahra Hospital from 2007 to 2016. Method and Materials: The present study is a cross-sectional descriptive study in the field of internet dissertation that reviewed the records of all infertile couples available at Alzahra hospital in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 1995-95. Data collection was done through survey of the hospital information system and a questionnaire was used for data collection. The questionnaire included demographic characteristics, influencing factors such as maternal age, infant gender and other factors. Results: The total number of newborns born during the period of 95-86 in Tabriz Alzahra Hospital was 93542 and 515 respectively, which were fertilized without and using maternal infertility, respectively. Of these, 50.78 % and 52.52 % were boys, respectively. The results showed that infants born in infertility assisted pregnancies did not show a significant difference in terms of indices compared to infants born to normal pregnancy.en_US
