| dc.description.abstract | In this study the results of using prophylactic dislodge in comparison with routine methods were evaluated.
Methods: Among the term pregnant women that underwent C-section with the diagnosis of descending arrest from May 2017 to March 2018, in Al-Zahra and Taleghani hospitals, in Tabriz, Iran, 70 mothers were chosen randomly and were studied in two groups. In study group prophylactic dislodge and in control group a routine method without prophylactic dislodge was used. The results were compared to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the mentioned methods.
Results: Comparing the general findings in two groups, mothers had no significant difference regarding age, gestational age, gravidity and parity. Also, comparing the newborns, showed no significant difference in height, head circumference, weight and APGAR. While evaluating maternal complications extension was significantly lower in study group. Comparing other complications, including bleeding, fever, damages to urinary tract and infectious consequences showed no significant difference between groups, since no cases were reported, at all. Finally, no neonatal complications were reported in both groups and obviously, there was no statistical difference. | en_US |
