| dc.description.abstract | Abdominal blunt trauma causes a wide range of mild, single-system and multi-system injuries and diagnosis of these types of injuries and determining their severity can help to reduce mortality and disability The remarkable thing about these patients is that with proper treatment they can prevent at least one third of their deaths So we decided to compare the ultrasound imaging methods of FAST, DPL, and computed tomography.Methods:This descriptive and retrospective study was conducted based on data of patients with abdominal blunt trauma referred to Emam Reza Hospital in Tabriz in 2017-2018. The results of abdominal ultrasound, DPL, laboratory findings were compared with abdominal computed tomography results as the gold standard for abdominal trauma diagnosis.The general information of patients is age, sex, trauma mechanism, FAST results as positive or negative, damaged organs, DPL results, lab test results (CBC, UA ...), patient outcome.Results:The findings of this study shows that 61 of 19109 patients with abdominal blunt trauma infants followed by FAST,DPL and abdominal and pelvic CT scan patients are contained of 8 female and 53 male.11 of patients had positive results of FAST,DPL and CT scan | en_US |
