Introduction: Oxidative stress, free radical production and glutaminergic receptor agonism are considered as an essential conesquences of anti cancer drugs induced neuropthy. Magnesium sulphate causes the cease of the NMDA receptors and citrus aurantium extract has some anti oxidant effect. Aim: This study’s goal is to evaluate prophylactic effects of Magnesium sulphate and citrus aurantium extract on neuropathic pain caused by vincristine. Materials and methods: All 72 male mice (25-35 grams) divided randomly in to 9 group 8 each. Various doses of magnesium sulphate (50, 75 and 100 ) and joint doses (Magnesium sulphate 50 + citrus aurantium extract 50 ), were injected in first three days and from fifth to tenth day and they were injected vincristine in fourth day (1 ). For the evaluation of effects of various diet in the first and second week (first, fourth, eighth, twelfth and fifteenth day) and in the end, level of biomarkers MDA and TAC serum has been measured in the observed groups. Result: Prescription of magnesium sulphate and citrus aurantium extract various doses has a significant effect on the preventing the vincristine induced neuropathy. The joint prescription of magnesium sulphate (50 ) and citrus aurantium extract (50 ), didn’t have a firm effect in the neuropathy as the drugs alone. Magnesium sulphate (100 ) caused a significant decrease in the level of MDA,whereas Prescription three doses of citrus aurantium extract caused a significant increase in the level of TAC and doses (100,150 ) caused a great decrease in the level of MDA. Conclusion: Magnesium sulphate probably with the obstructing of NMDA receptors and citrus aurantium extract with decreasing stress oxidative affect the prophylactic of neuropathy of vincristine, however for the perception of more mechanisms are needed further studies.en_US
