dc.description.abstractMany studies have been conducted on non-compliance with the antihypertensive treatment regime in other countries, but research in this area is low in our country, and considering the burden of cardiovascular disease on the health of the community, it is essential to undertake studies in this regard. Method and Material: Patients with hypertension referred to the family physician clinic of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences were selected using simple sampling. Data gathering tool In this study, a questionnaire consisting of three sections including a questionnaire with Hillben's Hypertension Therapy regimens, disease characteristics, and the third part, including social and related factors, were collected. Results: A total of 254 patients with hypertension referred to the family physician clinic of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences were enrolled. The mean age of the patients participating in the study was 58.16 ± 10.54, of which 110 (43.3%) were male, and 144 (56.7%) were Female In the statistical analysis, gender, income satisfaction, housing situation, the history of high blood pressure in the family, the presence of chronic illness associated with high blood pressure and self-control of blood pressure at home, different status of marital patients , the number of family members, the occupation and the level of education of the patient's spouse did not correlate with the acceptance of the treatment. However, the type of patient insurance had a significant association with on the quality of referral of patients to their physician, and the number of blood pressure medications on adherence with dietary orders and the quality of reference to the physician (P <0.001 , P = 0.01 , P = 0.02).en_US
