dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to investigate general complications following lower limb fractures such as deep vein thrombosis or lower limb swelling in Shohada Hospital of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. Materials and Methods: This study was approved and approved by the Vice-Chancellor of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. 100 patients with lower limb fractures referred to the emergency department or orthopedic clinic of Shohada Hospital in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences between September 2012 and September 2011 were included in the study by easy and accessible sampling. Patients at the time of referral The clinic was studied for inflammation of the limbs, infection and deep vein thrombosis, and the frequency of these complications was recorded. Results: The mean age of patients was 34.83 years, the lowest was 18 and the highest was equal to 50 years. The most frequent type of fracture was tibia (27%). Thereafter, with 21% of Malöl. The most commonly used therapeutic measures were fixation with plaque with 23%. Of the total sample, 27% had no complications. 68% had edema and 5% had infection.en_US
