| dc.description.abstract | In this study, the effect of ginsteinine on antioxidant factors SOD, GPX, TAC and MDA, as well as the expression of miRNA21, miRNA201 in a polycystic ovary induced in rats was investigated.
Materials and Methods: Female mice (40) were randomly divided into four groups: (1) control (2) polycystic ovary (3) genistein (4) polycystic ovaries treated with genistein. All mice were anesthetized and their blood and ovary specimens were collected and checked.
Results: Significantly decreased the number of follicles and corpus luteum in the PCOS group. In the genistein-treated PCOS group, the amount of healthy follicles increased compared with the PCOS group. Also, in the PCOS group, oxidative activity (MDA) increased and antioxidant activity (SOD, GPx, and TAC) decreased (P <0.05). When treated with Genistein, PCOS decreased the activity of oxidative activity (MDA) and increased antioxidant activity (SOD, GPx, and TAC) (P <0.05). In fact, genistein therapy significantly reduced oxidative stress in the ovarian PCOS mice. (P <0.001).
In the PCOS group, expression of miRNA-21 and miRNA-201 significantly increased compared with the control group (P <0.01). In the case of Genotosid PCOS, the expression of miRNA-21 and miRNA-201 significantly decreased compared to the PCOS group (P <0.01). | en_US |
