The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of anesthesia on menstruation in laparoscopic cholecystectomy with complete intravenous anesthesia under BIS monitoring. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 50 fertile women with a history of regular menstrual cycles aged 18-45 years old with BMI of 18.5-30 were divided into two groups of 25 follicular and 25 luteal menopausal women according to the menstrual cycle. 1. In the first group, patients with high follicular phase had high levels of estrogen (8th to 12th days of menstrual cycle). 2. In the second group, patients had high levels of progesterone in the luteal phase (24th to 26th days of menstrual cycle). Peremedication in the operating room was the same in all patients, including midazolam at a dose of 0.15 mg / kg, fentanyl 1.5 g/kg, and anesthesia induction with propofol infusion at a rate of 1 mg / s. When the patient's BIS was below 50, she relaxed with 0.15mg / kg cis-atracrym and was followed by a complete intubation. Maintenance of anesthesia was started with infusion of propofol at a dose of 100-150 g/kg/min and remifentanil at a dose of 10-20 g/kg/min. After starting the surgery the depth of anesthesia was measured with the ASPECT.2000.BIS device. Heart rate, mean arterial pressure, oxygen saturation before induction, after induction and every 5 minutes of surgery was measured. The amount of propofol used during anesthesia storage calculated based on mg / kg / hr. Data was analyzed by SPSS_23 software.en_US
