In this study, the prognostic variables including lipid profile, glycemic and anthropometric index, as well as intima-media thickness and their association with ischemic cardiac events have been evaluated. Methods & Materials: This study has been completed as a cohort study with longitudinal strategy. All patients attending to fatty liver disease’s clinic in Tabriz whom their data has been entered into the database since2008 until 2018 were included in this study. The data were extracted from this database and was completed in case of any missing data by calling patients. Also, the occurrence of any cardiovascular events including MI, IHD, and recently administrated cardiac drugs were asked by means of calling patients. Finally, after completing the data, it was analyzed using statistical analysis software. Results: Among the data of 2884 patient extracted from the database, 496 patients were accessed. 50.2% were male and 48.8% were female. The average age of the patients was 63.21 ± 4.35. The analysis of data evaluating the association of the variables with cardiac ischemic events demonstrated that there were significant correlations between BMI (p=0.001) and LDL (p=0.009) with cardiac ischemic events. Although there was a negative correlation between HDL and cardiac ischemic events, it was not statistically significant (p=0.91).However, left intima-media thickness of the left carotid artery (p<0.001) and right carotid artery (p=0.002) was significantly correlated with cardiac ischemic events of NAFLD patients.en_US
