The aim of this communication is to expand the results of the numerical analyses performed by Shakeel et al. on their experimental solubility of anti-cancer drug ibrutinib in {2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethanol + water} mixtures at different temperatures, in terms of modelling the solubility according to the Jouyban-Acree model and also the evaluation of the preferential solvation of ibrutinib by both solvents in the saturated mixtures based on the inverse Kirkwood-Buff integrals. é 2015 Elsevier Ltd.
