Chondromas are rare intracranial tumors and their common location is at the base of skull; however, extremely rarely they arise from the dura mater of the convexity. In this report, we describe an intradural chondroma in a 22-year-old man, originating from the dura mater of the convexity with adherence to superior sagittal sinus, another rare feature of these tumors. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings, pathologic characteristics, and surgical management of the lesion are discussed.
