dc.description.abstract | Molecular connectivity indices are the most widely used topological indices in QSAR and QSPR studies. In this paper, the ability of these indices for prediction of electrophoretic mobility of a diverse set of analytes is investigated. The proposed single parameter models were able to predict the mobilities well. Main advantages of the proposed method are: (1) its simplicity, (2) applicability to a wide range of acidic, basic and neutral analytes and (3) applicability to represent the migration behaviours for different electrophoresis methods such as MEKC and non-aqueous capillary electrophoresis. | |
