dc.description.abstractBeing aware of the edentoulism pattern would help us in theoretical and practical educational planning and therefore we could decide better on societys immense issues related to health, prevention and treatment. So, this study aimed to The Prevalence Distal Extended Removable Partial Prosthesis and Type of The Direct Retainers on Abutment Teeth next to the distal extension within The Frames been sent to Tabriz Dental Laboratories. Methods and materials: 400 cast charts that have been undertaken removable partial prosthesis therapy were selected. Then their properties were registered in special forms. The collected data were analyzed using Spss 16 statistical software. Results: Class I partial prosthesis was the most (51.5%) and class IV was the least (4%) prevalent classes in all sent frames. Also Bar Type Clasps were the most (64.8%) retainers on abutment teeth next to the distal extension. Conclusions: Based on the findings of this study, class I removable partial prosthesis was the most prevalent treated prosthesis among all groups in this study. Also Bar Type Clasps were the most and Wrought Wires were the fewest retainers on abutment teeth next to the distal extension.
