| dc.description.abstract | Sometimes patients haw not satisfactions of treatments made by dentists so if they can not solve problem, official legal organizations,for example,medical council organizations,are responsible to investigate and solve these problems. the aim of this study is to Research on prevalence of claims related to dentistry that were mooted in Tabriz Medical Council Organization in 2007-2008. Materials and methods: In a retrospective cross-sectional study, we assessed claim records related to dentistry that were mooted in Tabriz Medical Council organization in 2007-2008 and analysed data procured from records. Results: 118 (8.37% of all claims) records related to dentistry in 2007-2008 assessed in this study 74.58% of claims had General title of Deprecate. High stipend was second cause of claims. Prothesis (30%) and periodontics(30%) were the most common specialitis that had been claimed. Conclusion:This study noted acceptable ethical commition of society of dentistries. Further more,innocence rate of 77.97%, reflects that most common claims are not based on legal conditions. | |
