Dentoalveolar abscesses are one of the common problems in children streptococcus are one of the most bacteria that isolated from pulp and periapical lesions. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the types and frequency of bacterial strains isolated from abscesses in dental abscesses of children. Material and Methods: After aspiration of dental abscess in child (12) antimicrobial susceptibility of streptococcus Viridans in 14 patient and streptococcus anginosus in 11 patients to 7 antibiotics with Disk diffusion Agar method was examined. Results: Susceptibility of streptococcus viridians to Amoxicillin, Ampicillin and Clindamycin was 75%, 67%, 67% and this percentage for streptococcus anginosus was 77%, 70% and 77%. Resistance to Amoxicillin, Ampicillin and Clindamycin was not observed. Conclusion: Susceptibility of streptococcus viridians and streptococcus anginosus to Amoxicillin, Ampicillin and Clindamycin is high.
