All of the sonograms were compared with CT finding for sensitivity, specificity and predictive values. Results: There was no significant differences between CT and ultrasonography in diagnosis of nasal bone fracture (P= 0/0001). The sensitivity and specificity of ultrasonography in assessing of nasal bone fracture were 94/87% and 100% respectively. The PPV and NPV of sonography evaluation of the nasal bone fracture reached 100% and 95/34% respectively. conclusion: ultrasonography can be used as a first diagnostic imaging for evaluating nasal bone fracture specially in children and pregnant women.
