Abstract

For the first time MCM-41 functionalized by 3-aminopropyl (MCM-41-NH 2) was used for electrode modification and electrocatalytic oxidation of amino acids. The modified electrode was applied for amino acids detection using cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and flow injection analysis (FIA). The modified electrode shows many advantages as an amino acids sensor such as simple preparation method without using any specific electron transfer mediator or specific reagent, high sensitivity, excellent catalytic activity, short response time, long term stability and remarkable antifouling property toward for amino acids and its oxidation product. é 2011 Elsevier B.V.
